IDG was asked to expand the building’s lobby and design the on-street entrance and the entire second, third and fourth floors of NYU Langone Medical Center‘s state-of-the-art facility, The Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health, located at Third Avenue and East 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health offers a wide range of comprehensive care tailored to the specific needs of women including internal medicine, breast health, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, ear/nose/throat, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, podiatry, mental health and gynecology services in an integrated environment.
An Article 28 Imaging Center with endoscopy and two mammography rooms, plus an ultrasound room will occupy the third floor as well as cardio echo facilities, an exam room and consultation rooms. A procedure suite on the floor includes two procedure rooms and a recovery room with three bays. The fourth floor will offer general physician’s Faculty Group Practice space.
